Kiwi is a new 4” fullrange speaker offering due to Fostex’s re-release of the classic Alnico magnet for the 4” size. They are similar but brighter than the Orca, and they do get a good bit louder than the Orca, but have a brighter sound which may or may not be to your taste. Whereas we know for certain that the Orcas are crowd pleasers.

Also, the bass response is actually lighter than the Orca (bass is not deeper or more powerful than Orca), so they absolutely do need a subwoofer like the Barnacle or Infrasonic to sound their best.
